The opening of a call is possibly the most part of a call.
It gives you the opportunity to ensure you have someone’s complete attention.
Get it wrong and you could damage the call you are making and make it difficult to progress a relationship with a customer.
A good opening should include;
It should be concise and make the most of the opportunity to grab the customers attention and keep them listening to you for the rest of the call.

"Hi, my name is John
I am from Billings Supplies, one of the biggest distributors in the UK
I am interested in how you currently buy your supplies
I'm sure our buying power can help save you money
Can you tell me what kind of volumes you are buying on an annual basis?"
